iPad has been very popular since it’s launch. People love it as it is so handy to search the internet or do any task
It makes everyday tasks very easy with fast iPad that has got a big screen and it allows you to multi-task. Put it this way, a smartphone is good but the screen is too small to keep looking for a long time, a computer is bulky if you are carrying it around with you and if it is an old MacBook like mine, it takes a while to crank up before you can actually start doing what you intended to do.

iPad is a cross between a smartphone and a computer. iPad is an enlarged phone and it’s superfast and makes everyday tasks very easy and fun.

Using a tech device like iPad/computer has become massively important, especially in 2020 with the Co-Vid 19. All the bills, registrations etc. that you have to pay it all have to be done online, nothing is done instore because of health safety reasons.

People have to adapt now. I know a few people who I had to help with technology, like setting up their first smartphone or simple tasks like setting up an email or setting up touch ID.

If you are not willing to spend a lot of money and still want an iPad. The best option for you is the new iPad which has been boosted with all the new features that make it powerful and super fast as it has got A12 bionic chip. It starts at A$499.
It is compatible with a smart keypad and apple pencil. It is capable of multiple tasking at the same time.

iPad Pro was the rage when it was introduced, it comes in 2 sizes 11 inches and 12.9 inches. I love the 12.9 inch iPad but it starts at A$1649 which is pretty expensive.

If you can not afford the iPad Pro but you still want something better than the basic iPad which looks the same after several years. You can look at iPad Air which looks a lot like iPad Pro and its pretty much the same size. It starts at A$899.
Ipad Air has A14 Bionic chip, a great camera that records 4K videos. It comes in 5 colours. I like the blue one and there is a shortage of it. I finally got one yesterday.

Why should you consider buying an iPad?

Portability

What makes iPad a great device is, it’s portability. You can work at home on it and if you need to leave for work you can put it in you bag and carry it with you. When you jump on the train, you can continue doing your work.

It is a wireless, sleek device fits easily anywhere.

Speed

When you have an idea in your mind and you want to save it before you forget. You turn your iPad on and within seconds you can perform the task you are willing to do. You can quickly do so many things.

User friendly

iPad is a user friendly device. You can do a lot on it. It is very easy to lean and people from all ages can use it.

Multi tasking

You can split the screen to simultaneously do two things at the same time. It takes productivity to the next level.

Imagine you are writing an essay or a blog, and you need to look up something related to the article you are working on. You can simply split the screen, open the browser along side and look up what you are after.

Or consider you are writing an article about cooking and you split the screen and play the video alongside to keep adding to your notes. The flow is so smooth, it just works like magic.

My iPad buying experience

iPad was never my priority till now. I just bought an iPad Air(generation 4) yesterday because I realised the benefits of having an iPad from people who have been using iPads on regular basis for years. If you didn’t have one like me, you have been missing out.

iPad is all about being productive, this device lets you do a lot. It is a great device and it is really useful for blogging and editing content, drawing, watching videos or just surfing the internet. You can pretty much do everything that you can do on a computer, but quicker. Time is money, right!

Seriously if you don’t want to spend money, you can get away with buying the standard iPad, which is super cool. It costs A$499. The great thing about it is, it’s got A12 Bionic chip, which is super fast.

If you are just another iPad user, who’s going to surf the internet and do all the basic stuff, this iPad is sufficiently capable of performing. I was going to get this one but I decided to get iPad Air. If you want to know why. Check out my other article which explains it properly in detail.

Why I chose iPad Air over other options out there?

Apple store experience

By the way if you are willing to go to an apple store just to look at their products or potentially willing to buy something. It is at least an hour’s wait just to get in. There is a massive queue outside their store, which is ridiculous.

Apple follows global policy for taking precautions which is great. So this is not the best time to visit apple store as you have to wait an hour in the queue just to get in and then find out they do not have enough stock of the product you are looking for.

Where to buy?

You can go to your local stores like Jb-HiFi, Officeworks, HarveyNorman or whichever store is closer to you. Go in there and find the product you are interested in. If you are interested in buying an iPad make sure you go to the store and play around with the device and see that it’s the right product for you.

You can order it from the above mentioned stores online. But I f you only want to buy from Apple store as you are paranoid about different stores and their products, you can order it through Apple website and as it is an expensive product, it will be delivered to you for free, for sure.

Bonus- If you want your name/company name/mobile number or pretty much anything engraved on the back of your iPad, buy it online through apple’s website. They are doing a promotion where they give you an option to engrave your name and number at the back of your iPad complimentary. You get space of 2 lines to engrave your text.
