Upgrade Old Hard Drive to SSD in Macbook Pro 2012. What difference does it make?

The Hard drive which I was using was the one that macbook pro came with. When i bought this macbook it was very cheap and there was a reason. I bought the macbook in 2016 and it was 2012 model, outdated that’s why it was cheap.

So intially it was okay, then slowly with time it became really slow. After a couple of years i could hardly use it, as whenever i tried turning it on, it went into freeze mode. So I had to. restart it to make it work, sometimes update the software etc. and that can take an hour.

So I was very annoyed by that as it was stopping me from getting things done. So I ended up buying an iPad to do the things I wanted to. I could not buy a new MacBook as they are about $3000.

I wish if I knew that changing the Ssd Hard drive was an option. After a while i did my research and changed the hard drive, that made a massive difference. The computer starts instantly in few seconds. And works like a breeze. I can work on multiple apps now without the computer freezing and interrupting my work.

If you are in the same boat, do yourself a favour, switch your Hard drive to SSD and see it change everything.

Okay, so how computer industry work. You will buy a brand new computer cheap on sale etc. thinking you are getting a bargain. And after a while your computer goes super slow, that’s the reason it was sold cheap. Some people don’t have technical knowledge and companies take advantage of this.

And when something like this happens people can’t be bothered and they go out and buy another computer and this computer sits in the corner catches dust, which can be easily fixed. Do your research before you buy a product, make sure it is up to date with the latest technology.
