Top 10 Goals for 2021
2020 went too quick. Set Goals for 2021. Make it happen.
Sit down and sort it out. Write down your goals and your plans to get there, create deadlines and work on them daily.
The trick here is to contribute towards your goals every day, one step at a time. A little progress is better than none at all.
Your goals for 2021
It is important to plan your life and the time ahead of you, it makes things easy. It makes things happen when you plan them and set a date like a project. Then you can work on your goals once you plan everything.
1.Write down your ideas
It all begins with a plan. Write down where you want to be by the end of next year. Write down what all you want to do, make monthly/weekly plans and keep continuously working on your goals and track your progress.
2. Eat Healthier
Change your diet to healthier options. Switch your diet start eating more vegetables or just split your normal diet for half the healthier stuff to start with.
I have changed my diet. I am continuously working on it trying to make it better. There is so much to learn out there as there are a lot of healthier options when you start exploring them.
Start cooking at home more often. This will make your diet better as you cook healthier meals at home and you save a lot of money too as you are avoiding take away food.
3. Read at least one book every month
Find a good book and start reading it. There is nothing like reading a book, gaining so much knowledge through a book. Not many people buy books so books are really cheap to buy now. Find a book shop near you and start a new hobby if you already have not yet.
Look up Wayne Dyer, his books are great, self-help books about how to improve your life.
4. Fitness hour- away from technology
1 hour turn your phone off and use that time to go for walks, work out, swim, do stretches, yoga, pushups, pilates etc.
Get fit. If you want to get fitter you can do it, don’t ever think that it is too late. Start with regular workout sessions, go for walks and change your diet. Eating unhealthy food is not good on many levels. You need to train your mind to consider healthy food as good food, that’s how I look at food and I love it.
Challenge yourself to do things that you like doing or you want to do. Start small and gradually you will progress towards your goals. Every little bit that you do counts.
5. Start a Side Hustle
Think about your hobbies or something that you are good at and you can make money from. Start making $1000 a month from your side hustle. Create a plan and set a date when you want to establish it. Keep working on it everyday.
6. Travel
It is a great way to explore the world and learn. Seeing different places, food, people etc. is a great way to expand your knowledge. Travelling opens your mind and helps you get away from stressful daily routines.
7. Rearrange your desk and cupboard
Sometimes as little things as this can hold you back from doing what you want to do. Imagine you want to write and your desk is full of rubbish all over and that will definitely stop you or it will be an obstacle in doing what you want to do. You need to get rid of all the clutter and make your desk tidy, your workspace.
The same thing goes with your cupboard, your clothes. If your clothes are not sorted properly they will be lying everywhere on top of each other, you can not find something when you need it. If you have too many clothes, get rid of some that you never wear or are old clothes. For people, clothes are never enough they keep buying more, but you only need a handful.
8. Me time/Meditate
Start enjoying your own company. Some people rely on others too much, we all need to be independent and do things that we like to do on our own. I have seen many people that would not go to a restaurant or a cinema on their own, there is nothing wrong with it. You can definitely go on your own and no one really cares, it's all in your head.
Meditate 10 minutes a day to calm yourself to appreciate what you have in life. It can be hectic as we are living in a superfast world, where we forget to enjoy all the little things in life.
9. Wake up at 5 am
I wake up at 3:30 when it is still dark and go for a walk. I love peace and no traffic on the roads at that time. It is a fantastic time to do whatever you want especially if you like to write when there is no disturbance.
I normally have to get up an hour later, but I rather get up earlier and do my fitness routine. You can too, give up your sleep a little bit for your better health.
10. Learn a new hobby
It is fun learning new things. Is there something you always wanted to learn? Now is the time. Learn drawing, dancing, cooking and whatnot. There are no limits.
What holds people back?
1.Starting Small
People want to start big, become successful and do not want to go through the journey of struggle. This holds people back from even taking a chance as they are scared of being frowned upon. You just start it as soon as you can and within no time you will get there, believe in yourself
2.Rejection
When people do something, they are scared of other people’s reaction, what if people don’t like it? You do your best and do not worry about the rest, people always doubt when you do something different and then when you continue doing it, people do not care.
3.No Results
When you start your journey, you expect to see results. But nothing happens overnight, it takes time and consistency to get desired results. People give up before they even put some work in. You need to keep doing what you are doing regularly and you will get there just give it some time. Slow progress is better than no progress.
Conclusion
Believe in yourself. Do not let anyone tell you that you can not do it. Just start now and keep growing, learn from your mistakes. Focus on your goals, give your 100 % and hard work will pay off.
