Storage Problem. Expand your iPad’s memory with an easy solution.

Storage is never enough on iPads especially if you are working on your iPad with High Definition videos or playing games that take up all of your space. Gone are the days when you could expand the memory of your devices with inbuilt memory card slots.

So the new way is to either pay more money to buy an iPad with more storage or pay to get cloud storage. Either way they are going to make you pay more. But don’t worry about it, we have got your back.

You have got problem with storage on your iPad either you have only got limited storage or the storage that you have is not enough. you have got so much content on your iPad and the storage is never enough. you want to copy it somewhere else and unload your iPad so that it can function properly. Or you just want to upgrade your iPad’s storage. There’s a simple solution for all of these problems.

This little port connects iPad to a Hard-drive

You must be having a Hard drive somewhere at your home that you don’t use anymore. I had three laying around. Back in the day when there was no netflix and you had to download all those movies and shows and store them in the hard drives. No need to do that anymore. So all those hard drives sitting around, I found a way to put them to work.

You can connect a hard drive to your iPad with a Usb connector, technical name for it USB Adapter. I needed a Type C toUsb A connector for my iPad Air Generation 4. You might need another connector for your iPad or android tablet. But it does the same thing.

You can get a multi hub adapter that has different ports for different functions. I found one that was super cool with 7 options. As the new iPad doesn’t have audio jack, so with this adapter you can connect your headphones, connect your SD card and multiple usb devices.

You can find heaps of solutions for what you are looking for. I was looking for a cheap solution to connect my hard drive that was catching dust somewhere to my iPad, which worked. I paid $2.80 for this connector at a Dollar store.

How easy it is to connect?

Connecting your hard drive to the iPad is super easy. You plug it in and you are good to go.You don’t need to install any app or change any settings for this to work.

I use the files app on iPad that makes it super easy to use the hard drive. Just like computer it shows all the options on the left, you can create folder in the hard drive and easily transfer your content from the iPad to the hard drive or vice versa.

What else can you connect to your iPad?

You can connect Sd cards the same way, you will need the SD card reader with a Usb C porto connect to your iPad.

The headphone jack was removed as most headphones and earbuds are wireless. But still many people prefer the wired headphones, including me.

You can connect your headphones on the iPad through a Usb C Headphone jack. So The Usb C connects to your iPad and then you can connect your headphones in the headphone jack and enjoy watching videos or listen to music.

You can directly plug your GoPro and upload videos to the cloud or edit them on iPad or just transfer them to iPad or other devices.

You can connect your iPad to a bigger screen like a projector or your TV, you can do that with the Usb C and HDMI cable and that way you can watch the videos on your iPad on the big screen.

Depending on what you are looking for, there is an easy solution out there. Look up the device you are using and the solution will pop up. Remember you have to come up with a problem only then internet will find you a solution.
