Part 7:Exercise
Practice makes us perfect. Regularity is essential in achieving anything in life. I can relate to this concept in writing, exercise, cooking. If you do not write for a long time, there is a blockage when you get back in it after a while it is hard to begin.
Being regular can be hard sometimes, as you do not see the results it stops you from going on. The truth is things that you do everyday make it happen in the long run. For example if you want to loose some weight or just get fit, you need to walk/work out everyday to achieve the results. You can not get results by working out once in a while. The calories we take in daily we need to burn daily to maintain the body weight. It is not as complicated as we make it.
We need to find tricks to keep working out. I created a new game to work out. I started doing 100 push ups a day. There is no excuse to not do that as push ups can be done anywhere. So the trick is to do 100 push ups no matter how. Make it 5 sets of 20. Make it 50 push ups in 2,3 or 4 sets in the morning and the same thing in the evening. As i do that i add few sets of sit ups, strengthens the legs really good.
A healthy mind thinks better thoughts. If you are unfit, you feel tired, you do not have the energy to do things. You keep postponing things. So to get back on track you need to get fit.
As you start your fitness journey, there is another effective thing to try. Going on water diet. Do not go too hard to begin with. Body does not get a break, as we keep eating meal after meal. You can skip dinner and feel the difference. Then you can try having just fruits for a day, when you are ready go for fruits diet for 3 days. Then you can do 3 days water diet. Take it slow as it might not be easy.
Exercise will not work if you eat unhealthy food. You need to change your diet. You need to start eating healthier. Add lots of vegetables to your diet.
There are no limits. No matter how long you wanted to do it. You can do it now. Start right now. What will show you results in the future is, what you do now. Same rule applies in everything. You can not expect to see results, if you do not work on it everyday. If you want to be fit, you have to contribute some time to your fitness. Exercise is very important for body to work properly.
Fasting
Your body enters a state called ketosis as it begins to fast or starve. Because there is now very little glucose in your blood, your body must begin to break down fat for energy. This might not be for everyone. It is something unusual. You need to do it on your own pace. Take it slow, one step at a time. It is a very good method to give your body’s digestive system some rest. Start skipping a meal every now and then. Make sure you drink plenty of water when you are fasting. Do not fast if you feel unwell.
Fasting can be done for 1,3,5,7 days, depending on how much you can take. There is no need to push yourself too much. Go with the flowYou can do fruit fasting to begin with. Eat only fruits for a day. And see how you go.
